Mayur Shelke was working as a railway worker in India when he saw a child in the path of an oncoming train. He acted instantly, pulling the boy to safety before the train passed.
The rescue was caught on CCTV and spread across the country. Indian Railways awarded Shelke a cash prize for his heroism.
